Tango Models and Characteristics:

Main Characteristics:
High Speed:
30,000 line scans per sec (highest), the highest scan speed capacitive touch controller IC can ever have; due to this advantage, Tango can sense more data variation during the same period, to better support handwriting function in handwriting signature, electronic recognition and other areas.
Lowest power-consumption
For electronic devices using batteries, such as mobile phone and MP3, the requirement for low power consumption is very strict. To lower power consumption, Tango adopts:
Internal linear voltage regulator and the digital parts using low-voltage power supply;
Standby function: IC goes into standby mode, when MCU stops working on it. In standby mode, only the interface circuit keeps working, power consumption being only 100nA;
By increasing digital processing method, analog module’s static power consumption is reduced.
Strong anti-interference ability
Tango’s touch solutions have solved environmental problems, the most difficult problems for capacitive touch screen to overcome. That is to say, Tango is able to completely

shield from the interference of humidity and electromagnetic wave. In drawing, Tango can also solve the diagonal aliasing problem faced by the general industry, so as to provide whole-picture and all-angle drawing function.
Handwriting function
By using software to recognize handwriting pressure, Tango can achieve handwriting function which other chips can not. Thus Tango can record more writing features and also expand the area for handwriting application and electronic signature recognition.
Applicable to large-sized screens
Pixcir, the world’s first projected capacitive touch controller IC manufacturer which can support screens larger than 10inch, together with its partner, has launched capacitive touch screens with complete sizes, ranging from 2.4inch to 21.6inch, which impresses the market very much. 27inch touch screens are under development.
