Tango HV100 is an projective capacitive touch controller for large-size touch panel applications. With up to 109 sensing channels configurable with software, flexible TX/RX allocation can be easily achieved for different panel demands. Control boards for large panels with more than 109 sensing channels can be designed with multiple HV100s, each with different TX/RX assignment to maximize the channel usage, and hence reduce the cost of control boards. Synchronization among multiple HV100s can be easily done with built-in hardwired logic. An external MCU with SPI interface is needed for control multiple HV100s. A DC/DC booster for 18V power source is also needed to support the power supply for HV100 generating 18V TX scanning pulses.
